Divya is a Visual Arts practitioner from Bhopal. Growing up, her art practices brought joy to her and were an integral part of her personality. However, to pursue a stable career she joined a corporate job. But she soon realised, her work was purely mechanical and nothing that an application couldn't do. She was also able to experience the subtleties of the corporate system that were withering her creativity. Hence, she walked out of her job to discover the possibilities of a more fulfilling Alivelihood as an artist.
 

Through the 52 Parindey Fellowship, she explored the field of Arts for Social Change. In her journey she engaged with various Art practitioners, who are working in different domains like Art for Alternative Education, Upcycling, Social awareness, Activism, etc. Her journey has unfolded for her the Power of Art and the important role that it plays in the lives of individuals and society.
