Facilitation: Emotional Wellbeing and the Role of Collectives

Susruthan believes in the symphony co-created by movement and restfulness. He has pursued slow-paced travel at different stages of his life. These journeys and interactions with humans and ecology helped him to slow down and create a connection with the environment. The South India Jam 2019 helped him reflect on his own stories and find a connection between his rebellions and his childhood trauma.

Through the 52 Parindey Fellowship, Susruthan explored the role of collectives in emotional wellbeing, and how individuals and communities facilitate the same. During the journey, Susruthan became intimate with facilitation and furthered his conviction to work in the area of emotional well-being. He met amazing human beings who hold space for individuals by creating a community experience for them. For him, the journey he has been on for the past months has opened up a deeper understanding of himself and the society around him and has strengthened his concepts about the work he would like to do in the world.
