Vaishna P | Kannur, Kerala
Impact of Climate Change and Resilience of Coastal Communities

Vaishna is a professional social worker from the Kannur district of Kerala. She is specialising in community development and climate change impact mitigation. Vaishna is also an avid artist and loves spending time with colours.
A lover of solo travel, each person she meets and interacts with on her journey is a life lesson for her. She has an equal passion for committing her skills to society. She left her career in the Information & Technology sector to contribute to her community in an in-depth manner.
Through the 52 Parindey Fellowship, Vaishna pursued the impact of climate change and other issues faced by coastal communities in India, while looking at the intersections of caste and gender in these issues. The travel through the western coasts of India has been insightful for her to work towards her vision of working with coastal communities.
